So far it's been mild temperatures and no shoveable amounts of snow, but has rained several times. Been great to spend time outoors. Today after running errands I parked the car by the milk factory and Lily and I walked the entire trail along the Rum to the end where it meets the Regional Park. Along the walk near the pine woods I heard a new sound that I didn't recognize but soon found the source of the sound. It was ice in the flowing water bumping into other ice an getting jamme up along the river where it bends. It was quite loud and we stopped to watch the ice plow into each other. Even Lily watched and cocked her ear to listen.
