Mild Winter

So far it's been mild temperatures and no shoveable amounts of snow, but has rained several times. Been great to spend time outoors. Today after running errands I parked the car by the milk factory and Lily and I walked the entire trail along the Rum to the end where it meets the Regional Park. Along the walk near the pine woods I heard a new sound that I didn't recognize but soon found the source of the sound. It was ice in the flowing water bumping into other ice an getting jamme up along the river where it bends. It was quite loud and we stopped to watch the ice plow into each other. Even Lily watched and cocked her ear to listen.

So now know the entire route of this beautiful trail. We ene up by walking past the am where we stoppe to watch the fishermen an to enjoy the water flowing over the am. Sally's Toy Mouse

Sally loves her small new catnip filled mouse toy. She bats it all around the kitchen floor and then carries it all directions by the tail. Even when we're having dinner she would rather play with her toy then smell the food. In fact, she doesn't like food during dinner unless it's fish then she forgets all about her little mouse toy. Sometimes Lily takes Sally's mouse toy from her when she's playing because Lily doesn't want her to have too much fun. However, Lily could care less what Sally is doing during dinner because Lily just wants the food no matter what.

Cool Walks

Now that the fall weather is here and temperatures consistently cooler Lily has been accompanying me to Yoga classes and waits for me in the car. In the warmer weather the car gets to hot for her to wait. Now she sees me with my gym bag and she's waiting by the outside door ready to go. After class is finished Lily and I go for a walk along about a mile u along the Champlin Parkway. Or- along the Elm Creek Park Reserve trails. Just found a new entrance to the Hayden Lake Trail right by the health club. Its hilly with paved trails therough woody and grassy areas. Real fun and lots of good exercise for both of us.
