Yesterday afternoon my mom was walking Lily around the neighborhood and Lily was attacked by two large bulldogs. One of the dogs got a hold of the back of her neck and left ear and wouldn't let go. She lost a lot of blood and had to go through surgery and intensive care. We picked her up late last night and brought her home. When she got home she was hungry and wasn't acting much different except for when she tried to find a comfortable position to sleep.
I'll let the pictures show exactly where she was torn apart. All the staples, bunched-up skin and stitches make her look like Franken-beagle-stein.
Today, she slept a lot and laid low until later in the afternoon. She perked up and acted normal when the mailman came to the door and ate soon afterwards.
She is strong and will full recover because she is a very strong willed beagle.
