This week we had 4 days of rain off and on. One day it rained 7 inches, as measured in a bucket in our yard. The Mississippi if really full to its banks. The water is up to the top step on the stairs in the river park. Lily and had had a good view up and down the river from the dock. Also, the raspberries a ripe and I ate my fill but Lily was not interested in them but spent the time sniffing the ground and brush area around the bushes.
Lily had a new experience on a recent walk down by the river park. On our way home we went down Rice Street and the new house in the culdesak had a robot lawnmower mowing the lawn. It was so neat, so cool, exciting and fun to watch. Lily was walking along with her nose to the ground as usual so did not see it. I stopped and was watching it and when it got to the end of its path it turned around a came back right toward Lily. When she saw it she looked up jumped up suprised and got out of its way. She watched it for awhile and each time it came back she watched it with a quizacle turn of her head/neck. It was fun watching her and the robot. Spent at least 10 min there.
